We built a balloon powered robot and its airstream engine. We blew up the balloon which propelled the robot forward. We also stack metal badge onto the robot and pushed it and pulled with a big magnet.

What we learned:

  • Air pressure can be used to activate movement. With a high air pressure objects are pushed around. Air pressure causes winds, tornados and airplanes to fly.

  • A magnet create invisible area called a magnetic field. A magnet has north and south pole and one attracts the other. Also one north pole repels the magnet's north pole.

Other experiment with air pressure: tornado in the bottle and magic water glass trick
